Slab Sawing

The slab sawing process features a diamond blade mounted on a walk behind machine. It is generally used to cut horizontal surfaces such as pavement, expansion joints, bridge decks, and floors. The saws are powered with diesel or electric motors to suit the job: diesel for production road sawing, electric for interior slab sawing. With standard cutting depths of up to 24 inches and deeper depending on the application, slab sawing is an extremely efficient process for modifying concrete slab or roadway.
